Peppers Craigieburn Resort in Bowral was a lovely escape for my family. The gardens were spectacular, and the beds super comfortable. While we faced a few hiccups with room assignments and a noisy evening, the friendly staff and delightful breakfast made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend for eco-conscious travelers!

The breakfast was extensive and good hot and complete with croissant and views over the golf course and all the options on display. The location was good and magnificent, next to well maintained gardens over looking the golf course as well as Bowral and surrounding townships and easily accessible.

I got a delicious breakfast with views over the golf course and all the options on display, as example. There were it's own balcony, a lounge and a carpet in the room, really enjoyed that...

The lounge area was fabulous and the breakfast was exceptional.
I enjoyed my stay at Peppers but was very disappointed at the size of the room. Two tall adults one king size bed and very little room to move or anywhere to put most of your belongings.

The accommodations here are modern and spacious, featuring balconies with views of the garden or golf course. Rewritten: the rooms here are trendy, light, and come with balconies overlooking the garden or golf course.

The location was central, not far from Bowral and surrounding areas of interest, activities such as the golf & tennis, and restaurant and foyer. Really enjoyed extensive and warm breakfast and had a really really nice stay overall for the best weekend.

Lovely old country house and grounds, good and central for exploring the Southern Highlands and close to the Bowral town with its mix of interesting shops and gardens.
Noise from very squeaky floorboards in the hall outside our bedroom.

We were bitterly disappointed with the room size & room location, where we looked out over tin roof tops. The hallways from Recpetion to room were dark, creaky & had a faint musty smell. Access to rooms was difficult (no lift) with heavy cases. The bedroom had been updated however there was not enough room for suitcases & had to step over them. The bathroom needs a lot of modernisation - tiles were grubby & extremely small. Room tarriff did not reflect accommodation provided.

The gardens.
We stayed 2 nights. We left at 10am on the second morning and returned at about 10pm and the room hadn't been tidied. I had to walk down to reception because my phone had no "reception" button and request clean towels and toilet paper. However the staff member at the front counter was quick to bring more towels etc.

The, estate is gorgous, the gardens are very well taken care of the building is well groomed as well furniture well kept and very friendly atmesphere
We booked on line, when we arived they had stated that they were booked out do to a large wedding party, we had a room on the 3rd floor (no lifts) I have a bad knee was a bit of a strugle, when we got to the room and opened the french ndoors we found a old horse stable to be our veiw and the smell to go with it. They nicely moved us, but we were in the room next to the courtyard where the wedding reception was, it was going until 115 am. When I called the office they said they were closing the bar and shuting the party down. The next morning when I spoke to the manager I said it would have been nice to let your customers know that there was a large function going to give them an option, we went for the tranquility of the estate. To find it was louder then being in the city, Her reply was you booked on line so they have know way of contacting???? When we booked I had mentioned it was my wifes 52 bday. They never egnaloged the fact with not an even a little mint or choc. (That was the first ever) we always go away for our bdays and at least a little note on the pillow saying happy birthday. Over all it was a shame because of our special event, We felt booking on line gave us no impotence to that manager, as she said well if you would have booked with us we could have told you! So we became second rate client. We would not stay again.

I like the old homestead part best. I liked all the little nooks and crannies that you could relax in. The lounge area was particularly cosy compared to the cold damp outdoors. The food at the restaurant was superb.
